Here's an update for the SketchUp questions you posed earlier today.

For the patterned floor or cement tiles an imported image was used as the top surface of the tile component.

For the brick, field, liner and cornice tiles (wall surfaces), an imported jpg of the texture was applied to the component tiles. Applying the finish as texture allows for the finish to have shading.Avente Tilehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07062625318318137389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3212644455999670683.post-55731161829118671062010-06-16T17:18:44.289-07:002010-06-16T17:18:44.289-07:00Hey Paul. I know creating the beveled brick and crackle finish took some time; but, I am not clear on the details of execution. I'll touch base with her and let you know.Avente Tilehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07062625318318137389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3212644455999670683.post-5231250381440495122010-06-16T15:31:30.409-07:002010-06-16T15:31:30.409-07:00I didn't know you were a SketchUpper too Bill....I didn't know you were a SketchUpper too Bill. The entire color scheme works. I even like the various sizes of tiles used in this space; creates a nice visual interest without being too overpowering or busy.

MarilynAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11987667135695351122noreply@blogger.com
